Starting out as a buyer at Dance Music Records in Shibuya, Yukari moved to England where she started DJing before returning back to Japan to run the Japanese branch of Juno Records. Currently belongs to Jazzy Sport Kyoto and is a member of the Kyoto Jazzy Creative Council.
